The 2 days Merzouga quad excursion begins with a pickup from your Merzouga hotel or riad in the morning. Your tour guide will greet you and accompany you to the excursion’s starting point. When you arrive at the starting point, your guide will provide you with the necessary safety equipment, such as a helmet, gloves, and a copy of the traffic rules.
After that, you’ll begin your quad ride toward the Erg Chebbi dunes, passing across the desert and stopping at a small Berber town to meet the locals. In the middle of the desert, you’ll stumble across a Nomad family living in tents. Come drink some Moroccan tea and learn about their culture. Then we head to Safsaf for a picnic lunch under the acacia trees.
After lunch, we’ll ride our bikes across the Erg Chebbi dunes. You will be able to ride up and down the steep dunes, which will be an incredible experience. As the day comes to an end, we’ll stop at a vantage point to view the sunset over the dunes. This is a beautiful occasion that you will remember for the rest of your life. We’ll bike back to Merzouga after dusk.
Day 2: Merzouga » Taous » Jdaid » Ouzina » Merzouga
On the second day of our 2 days Merzouga quad tour, we will travel to Taous, where you will see the beauty of the desert landscapes. Then gaze at the rock engravings. Following that, we’ll continue our safari to Ouzina village, passing through Jdaid village. You will have the chance to learn about the local culture. You can relax here, have a picnic, and enjoy the calm and quiet of the desert.
In the afternoon, we’ll carry on to Merzouga, where our spectacular buggy experience will come to a conclusion.
