Discover Fes

This charming, small village is surrounded on all sides by picturesque, long stretches of towering sand dunes. The red sandstone buildings blend into the warmth of the desert landscape, which changes colors at sunrise and sunset.

Zagora
Zagora, also known as Morocco’s Sahara Desert Gate, is located in southeastern Morocco, near the Anti-Atlas Mountains and the Draa Valley. Zagor’s allure stems largely from the vast Draa Valley, which is still home to a number of Berber tribes.
The name Zagora refers to a peak that overlooks the city from the Draa Valley’s shore. The town’s original name was Draa. Sultan Ahmed El Mansour (1578–1603), for one, was worried about the city. He constructed it to serve as a customs checkpoint for camel caravans traveling to and from Tombouctou.
