You will enjoy the beauty of the sunset on the dunes. You will reach the desert camp to spend the night in a berber tent. At your desert shelter , your camels are hobbled and mint tea is served. After a delicious dinner, there will be a campfire and drums playing.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert » Ziz Valley » Fes [469 km]:

On the second day of 2 days tour from Fes to Merzouga desert,an early morning wake-up is recommended to witness the sunrise from the top of the Erg-Chebbi sand dunes.At the Merzouga desert camp, you will shower and enjoy a great breakfast cooked by friendly Berber people before your camel trek back to the departure point, where you will meet your driver.

Later, we’ll return on the same road but with different stops. Our first stop will be in Rissani. It is the largest market in Tafilalet. You will see many different types of spices, vegetables, a donkey area, and the great gate of Rissani.

Second, We’ll keep on to Erfoud and Midelt. We’ll eat lunch there. And we will make some stops as needed. Following your lunch, we will cross the Michlifen road, which offers magnificent scenery.

We were very comfortable throughout the 2 days tour from Fes to Merzouga. We stopped and fed monkeys in the morning and rode camels into the Sahara at sunset! The luxury desert camp was amazing!!
