Day 1: Fes » Azrou (Cedar forest) » Midelt » Erfoud » Merzouga [467 Km] :
Our 3 days tour from Fes to Merzouga Desert starts from your accommodation in Fez, driving through the Middle Atlas and cedar forest. We proceed through Ifrane, a well-known ski resort, and Midelt, which is famous for minerals and apples.We continue through the Ziz valley to Erfoud, known for its fossil handicrafts, and then to Rissani.
In the evening, we will arrive in Merzouga and ride camels (one for each of you) to a desert camp across the sweeping sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy a spectacular sunset from a high sand dune, then spend the night in your camp with Berbers (original nomads). a Sahara desert camp.
Day 02: Merzouga discovery [60 km]
The second day of this 3 days Fes tour is dedicated to learning about living in the desert and the Berber culture. First, you will explore the Oasis of Tiserdmine, which is situated in the heart of the desert. You will then proceed to the Nomads. These families are still living in tents near the Algerian border. You will be able to sample their tea as well as possibly other foods.With that in mind, they are distinguished by their benevolence. After that, you’ll drive to M’Ifiss to explore the fossil and kohl mines.
Thirdly, we will move to the Gnaoua people, who dwell in the village of Khamlia. You’ll enjoy their traditional music and dances.

Day 3: Merzouga desert » Ziz Valley » Midelt » Fes [480 Km]
Today is the last day of our 3 days tour from Fes to Merzouga desert; you will bid farewell to the desert and will undoubtedly have unforgettable moments as you travel to Fes via Erfoud, a small town known for carving marble stones and fossils, and enjoy the beautiful Ziz valley and palm grove landscapes all the way to Midelt, another small city known for apple production.
You’ll probably take a brief break here for lunch or in a nearby town named Zaida.
Then we continue our way back to Fes toward the Azrou cedar forest. Arrive in Fes around 6 p.m. We will drop you off at your accommodation, where our 3-Day Tour Fes to Merzouga Desert ends.
