Day 1: Ouarzazate » Draa Valley » Zagora » Mhamid

We will pick you up from the hotel where you are staying in Ouarzazate at 8 am to start the 2 days tour from Ouarzazate to Zagora. We will travel over the Anti-Atlas Mountains and via the Tizi-n-Tinfifite pass to Agdz. Here, stop for a tea or a coffee break.

Next, we drive off-track through the Dra’a Valley’s unlimited palm groves as far as Zagora. This is the last town before the desert, which will be the venue for lunch.

We continue to M’hamid El Ghizlane in the afternoon. This marks the end of the asphalt road and the beginning of the desert. An hour-long camel ride takes you to the desert camp in Erg Lihoudi’s dunes.

Upon your arrival, enjoy a soothing sip of tea and the first desert sensations after checking into your tent. Then, climb up to the summit and witness the spectacle of the sunset.

Taste dinner under the Saharan sky and immerse yourself in the desert at night. Join the nomads for an evening of singing and dancing. Later at night, your little nomad tent provides a comfortable spot to sleep

Day 2: Erg Lihoudi » Ouarzazate

On the last day of our 2 days tour from Ouarzazate to Erg Lihoudi, if you get up early in the morning and climb up to the summit of the dunes, you will be rewarded with an amazing spectacle of the sunrise.After breakfast, you will return to M’hamid on camelback. our desert adventure continues as we drive north to Tamegroute. Visit the green pottery workshops and learn how to make your favorite pottery item.

Following that, we drive north along the ancient caravan road to Kasbah Tamnougalte. We will visit the Kasbah with a local guide after lunch. The kasbah was built entirely of adobe and is still partially inhabited.

Our desert adventure continues to Agdz, where we will have a tea or coffee break. By the end of the day, we will have crossed the Anti-Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-n-Tinfifite pass to return to Ouarzazate. Here our 2 days tour from Ouarzazate to Zagora Desert comes to an end.

It was a wonderful trip with all this local people who thought us all about their culture and history. The camp location is perfect, it is super cute! We did camel walks during the sunset... one of the best experiences ever! During the night we sing and danced arround the fire, and we could appreciate the beautiful sky full of stars
