The 1 day desert buggy tour from Merzouga begins with a morning pick-up from your Merzouga hotel or riad. Your tour guide will meet you and take you to the tour’s starting point. When you arrive at the starting point, your guide will provide you with a safety briefing on how to operate the desert buggy as well as the road rules. After that, you’ll set out on your desert buggy to explore the Sahara’s vast sand dunes and rugged landscape. Your guide will lead the way and take you to some of the most picturesque locations in the area, including Khamlia village and nomad families.

After a few hours of exploring, we will stop for a lunch break in the desert. A nomad family will prepare a traditional Moroccan meal for you, which you can enjoy in the middle of the desert. After lunch, you will continue your exploration of the desert in your buggy. As the day draws to a close, we will make our way to a scenic viewpoint to watch the sunset over the dunes. This is a magical moment and one of the highlights of the tour. After watching the sunset, we will make our way back to Merzouga, where your Merzouga buggy rental will end.
