You will explore Ifrane and the cedar forest during our 3 days tour from Marrakech to Fes via the desert.First of all, Ifrane, located in Morocco’s Middle Atlas region between Fez and Marrakech, is one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations. Morocco’s Switzerland is known for its cooler temperatures, unusual architecture, diverse landscapes, lakes and streams, and a variety of outdoor pursuits.
One of Ifrane’s most photographed monuments is the Lion Sculpture. A German soldier sculpted the artwork during World War II. The sculpture is thought to be in memory of the last wild Atlas lion, which was slain near Ifrane.
Secondly, enjoy the view at cedar forest. The forest has so many Barbary apes that are so used to humans. They will interact with you and walk with you around the forest. Enjoy the company of friendly monkeys. Approach them and feed them nuts. The experience is magnificent and chilling. You will also get to see the mountains overlooking Azrou.
