Day 1: Arrival day in Ouarzazate
Arrival in Ouarzazate and transfer to your Superior Riad accommodation
Depending on your arrival time, you could also visit the Movie City Ouarzazate Highlights, such as the movie studios (one-hour guided tour), the Kasbah Taourirt, or the movie museum. Shortly before arriving in the desert capital of Ouarzazate, you can visit the famous Kasbah at Ben Haddou, a fortified clay city with numerous ksars and kasbahs that has served as the setting for several films including Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and Prince of Persia. This beautiful city is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 2: Ouarzazate » Dades Vallet » Tinghir
We begin our KTM tour for the big adventure on the second day! Depart for Skoura-Valley, where the mountain trail begins. This route passes through some remote Berber villages before turning around the M’Goun mountain to arrive in the Rose Valley and then further into the impressive Dades Canyon. We climb up from Boumalne Dades to Tinghrir, where we can visit the Todra Canyon, famous for its high rock walls. We’ll be staying in a Standard Room with Dinner.
Day 3: Tinghir » Alnif » Rissani » Merzouga
After breakfast, we begin the third day of our 7 Moto KTM adventure in the direction of Alnif, following a scenic route between the two mountains of Djbel Saghro and Djbel Ougnat. Alnif, where we eat, is famous around the world for its fossils. Following that, we travel to Rissani, a typical desert town with an interesting local market held three times per week. We’re almost to the dunes! It’s only a short distance from Rissani to the high, golden Merzouga dune fields. In Merzouga, spend the night in a Superior Riad with dinner.
Day 4: Merzouga » Ouzina » Mharech » Tafraout
The desert is at its most beautiful today on the way to Ouzina, with golden dunes and black mountains, solitary acacia trees, and free-roaming camel families. What a sight! We’ll pass through some small Berber villages and, with luck, meet some nomads. Prepare for massive sand dunes, a dry, sandy river, and a few small mountains leading up to Tafraout. We arrive in Mharech in the evening and spend the night in a local auberge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Mharech » Tagounit » Zagora
On the fifth day of our 7 days off-road adventure from Ouarzazate, we’ll race across a dry lake until we reach a desert plateau near Algeria’s border. This area is known as “Dinosaurs Valley” because of the large number of dinosaur bones discovered nearby. After lunch, we will cross a small mountain range with some copper mines before descending to the lush and green Draa valley and the village of Tagounite. We spend the night in a Superior Room and have dinner in Zagora.
Day 6: Zagora » Agdez » Draa Valley » Ouarzazate
On the sixth day of our 7 days KTM tour from Ouarzazate, we will follow the Draa river back to Ouarzazate, passing through some beautiful small villages along the green valley with its date palms. Following a lunch break in Agdz, we crossed the vast Anti-Atlas mountains. We continue our journey to the Oasis Fort, where you will have time to explore the quiet and peaceful oasis along the river with a guide and learn about the friendly locals’ way of life.
Return to Ouarzazate, where you will spend your final night in a riad with dinner.
Day 7: Departure from Ouarzazate
Breakfast in your Riad, then transfers to the airport for your flight back, depending on your departure time (or start of your individual program).
