Day 1: Casablanca » Fes
The first day of our 7 days tour from Casablanca to Merzouga begins with a pickup from the airport or your hotel. First and foremost, we will visit Morocco’s current capital. This city has several breathtaking sights, including Hassan Tower, a mosque tower that was designed to be the tallest in the world. Second, we will travel to Marrakech and see many more beautiful sites.
Day 2: Marrakech Tour
The second day of the one-week tour from Casablanca to the Merzouga Desert will be spent in Marrakech, which is a lovely city. Fortunately, Unique Desert Tour includes a local guide for the first time, allowing you to thoroughly tour the city and gain a better understanding of it.
The famous Jamaa El-Fna Square and the Koutoubia Mosque are among the sights you will see. You will visit both locations at the same time because they are not far apart. Day 3: Marrakech » Ait Ben Haddou » Ouarzazate » Dades Valley
After breakfast, we will start the third day of our 7 days journey from Casablanca to Merzouga. Our destination will be Dades Valley. The Tizi n’Tichka mountain trail will be passed along the Atlas Mountains (2,260 m). We will also enjoy the panoramic view before we arrive at Ait Ben Haddou. The kasbah’s dwellings are tightly packed together behind defensive walls and corner towers. You will walk to the top of the Kasbah and see traditional adobe dwellings. In addition, Ouarzazate, Africa’s Hollywood, provides access to film studios. Several films, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones, have been shot in this area. Furthermore, we will visit Rose Valley before spending the night in a local hostel in Dades Valley.
Day 4: Dades Gorge » Todra Gorge » Tafilalet Oasis » Merzouga Desert
We’ll head to the Todgha Gorges after breakfast. As a result, it is a limestone river canyon oasis well-known among rock climbers. We’ll go to Touroug to visit a Berber cloth cooperative and learn about another culture. Then we drive to Erfoud, which is famous for its dates and fossilized products. In addition, we will travel to Merzouga’s desert and walk by camel to your camp. Your camel guide will come to a stop at the top of the dune to enjoy the spectacular sunset. After dinner, you gather around the fire with the blue men to listen to their music. Also, spend the night under the stars.
Day 5: Merzouga » Ziz valley » Cedar forest » Ifrane » Fes
Continuing our 7 days adventure from Casablanca to Merzouga desert, breakfast will be served at the camp and you will take a shower before riding the camels back to the original point. We can transport you by 4WD instead of camels. It is completely up to you.
After completing your Merzouga sightseeing, you will be transferred to the next destination, Fes, via the Ziz Valley, Midelt, Ifrane City, known as Morocco’s “Little Switzerland,” and the famed Middle Atlas cedar forest with its Barbery apes in Azrou, where you will have a break to take photos and explore this amazing place. The fifth day of this 7 days Casablanca tour will conclude in a Riad in Fes, the imperial city.
Day 6: Visiting Fes attractions
The sixth day of our 7 days excursion from Casablanca to Merzouga will be spent exploring Fes. The journey will begin in the morning from your hotel. Your local tour guide will meet you at the Madrasa Bou Inania to take you there. In AD 1351-56, Abou Inan Faris founded an architectural school. Non-Muslims are welcome to enter one of Fes’ religious monuments. It is also recognized as a center for teaching the Quran and other Islamic subjects to children.
Second, we’ll go to Fes El Bali, also known as Fes’s old city. The majority of the riads (hotels) in the area can be found there. Use the “Bab Boujloud” main gate to get there. There are several famous souks and historic Moroccan monuments here. Medersa Sehrij, for example, is an Al-Andalus mosque.
Finally, you and your guide will go to the Chouara tanneries, which are known as the largest in the cultural city. It houses a variety of handcrafted leather products. The artists paint the leather with only unique spices, and it is completely dry by the end of the day. For the best views, it is recommended that you visit the nearby roofs owned by the shop’s proprietors.
Day 6: Fes » Casablanca
Casablanca will be our destination following breakfast. On the way to Casablanca, we’ll make several interesting stops. You will then be dropped off at your hotel or airport. The 7 days tour from Casablanca comes to end with best wishes for a safe journey.
