Day 1 : Arrival to Casablanca
Picking you up from the airport or your Casablanca lodging marks the start of your 10-day Morocco tour. It is acknowledged as the biggest city and the economic hub of Morocco. Morocco’s largest mosque, Hassan II Mosque, is the place we will be visiting. On a peninsula with a view of the Atlantic Ocean, it is situated on the western coast of the city. Lunchtime is on its own. Next we visit the gorgeous Cornish of Casablanca and continue our exploration of the city. Attend a motel for the night.
Day 2 : Casablanca » Rabat » Chefchaouen
We leave for Rabat after breakfast and travel along the coast. Currently serving as the nation’s capital, the city is one of Morocco’s imperial centers. You’ll witness the Oudaya Kasbah, the Hassan Tower, and the mausoleum of Mohammed V. Lunchtime is on your own. Next, we head north through Ouazzane to Chefchaouen, the Blue City, located in the Rif Mountains. The white-blue painted houses and lanes of the city are a prominent feature. Spend the night at a hotel.
Day 3 :Chefchaouen » the Roman ruins of Volubilis » Meknes » Fes
Feel free to stroll through Chefchaouen’s gorgeous alleyways after breakfast. Next, we visit Volubilis’ ancient Roman ruins. Because UNESCO named it a World Heritage Site, it is extremely well-protected. There are numerous beautiful mosaics scattered about, along with historic pillars and arches.
We go thirty kilometers to the city of Meknes after touring the ruins. The city is one of Morocco’s imperial cities and is known as the capital of the Ismailis. Bab Al-Mansour, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, the Royal Stable, the Sahrij Souani Basin, and the Granary will all be on our itinerary. After that, we head to Fes. Spend the night at a riad.
Day 4 : Guided tour sightseeing Fes
With a local guide, we will explore the city’s top attractions after breakfast. Fes is recognized as the center of Moroccan culture and religion and as one of the country’s imperial cities.
We visit the Royal Palace Gate first thing in the morning. Additionally, the UNESCO World Heritage site, the well-preserved medieval Medina, is worth visiting. You will go to the entrance to the ancient Medina, which is the Blue Gate, also called Bab Boujloud. To see the Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine Fountain, and the Tanneries, you will enter the Medina.
The oldest institution in the world, the Quaraouin Mosque and institution, is the last stop. After that, we depart from Medina to investigate “the Mellah,” the Jewish neighborhood. We take a drive to a historic fortification in the afternoon that offers a broad perspective of Fes and the Medina. And lastly, head back to your riad.
Day 5 : Fes » Ifrane » Cedars forest » Midelt » Ziz valley » Merzouga
Following a delectable breakfast, we travel to Ifrane by car, passing through Imouzzer. The city is well-known for its snowfall, chilly weather, and homes with alpine architectural styles. That it’s referred to as Morocco’s Switzerland is not surprising. Next, the tour heads into the cedar forest, home to Barbary macaques. You are welcome to give them food while you stroll through the woodland. We’ll travel on to Midelt later, where we’ll eat lunch on our own. After that, we take the Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass and the Ziz Valley to go to Merzouga by car. Along the way, there will be stops to take in the expansive views.
We arrive at Merzouga’s Sahara desert in the afternoon. Next, to traverse the arid desert, you switch to camels. Atop a tall dune, you’ll stop to observe the setting sun. You eventually arrive at the camp in the desert. In addition to hotel-style amenities, the camp features nomad tents. where dancing around a bonfire beneath a vast starry sky is possible while taking in Berber drum music. Staying at the campsite and having dinner.
Day 6 :
Explore Merzouga region
To witness the breathtaking dawn in the middle of the desert, get up early. Breakfast is on your own at this time. After that, you ride the camp’s 4×4 or camels back across the sand dunes to Merzouga (or, for an additional fee, use an ATV). You are met by the driver. On your ten-day trip to Morocco, we spend the sixth day seeing the Merzouga region. There are many amazing views in the area, such as sand dunes, untamed lakes, mines, places of fossils, and wonderful oases. which make ideal settings for a range of outdoor activities.
We start our adventure in Merzouga by going off-road to an old eyeliner mine. Next, we visit the nomads in their woven tent by hand. Sip tea made from Berber roots and discover their way of life.
Our next destination is Khamlia village, where you may take in performances of Gnaoua music and dance. Sub-Saharan African countries include Mali, Sudan, and Niger are home to its inhabitants. Free time to go to a restaurant for lunch. After that, we go through a contemporary desert oasis—a grove of palm trees. Dinner and a motel stay.
Day 7 : Merzouga » Rissani » Erfoud » Todra Gorges » Dades Valley
We depart the desert after breakfast and arrive in Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet. Rissani continues to be a major hub for trade in the area, and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, there is a healthy souk.
We visit one of the fossilized marble workshops in Erfoud after taking a tour of the Rissani Souk. To get to the Todra Gorges, we then travel by the palm plantations of Touroug and Tinjdad. Through the mountains, the Todra River has carved a breathtaking canyon. There is excellent rock climbing in these gorges. You are welcome to explore the gorges and take in the beauty. Free time to go to a restaurant for lunch.
After that, we go via Boumalne Dades and into the Dades valley. the unavoidable stop at the rock feature known as “monkey fingers.” and with a view of the Dades Valley from the summit of a mountain. Eventually, dinner and a motel stay.
Day 8: Day 8 : Dades Valley » Ouarzazate Ait Ben Haddou » High Atlas Mountains » Marrakech
We travel to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Rose Valley after breakfast. It’s May when the Rose Festival happens. where people sell products made from roses. Next, we take a trip through Skoura’s palm orchards. We reach Ouarzazate, also called the Desert Gate, later. We’re going to the filming locations of famous films.
We depart in order to see the well-known Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. a walled community that UNESCO has named a World Heritage Site. The Kasbah has starred in a number of films, including The Mummy, Gladiator, and Alexander. and television programs like Game of Thrones. After that, we go to Marrakech. across the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass. We’ll pause for lunch and to snap pictures at interesting spots. Spend the night at a Marrakech riad.
Day 9: Marrakech tour
Following a substantial breakfast, we will see Marrakesh’s top attractions with a local guide. As one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, the city is acknowledged. The Ben Youssef Quranic Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace are all included in the tour. and a visit to the biggest traditional souk in Morocco. Lunch break in Jemaa El-Fna Square. Later on, you will be able to see the Majorelle Garden and the largest mosque in Marrakesh, the Koutoubia mosque. Arrive at the hotel at last.You are welcome to go around Jemaa El-Fna by yourself.
Day 10 : Marrakesh » Casablanca
We will have a quick tour of Marrakesh, the red city, on the last day of the tour itinerary. Then, stopping for expansive views along the way to the Casablanca airport, we’ll head north. After that, you’ll be taken to the airport. Our 10 Days Morocco Tour from Casablanca concludes now.
